Title : IT - Operations Officer III
Duration: 06 months of assignment (Possible for extension )
2 Locations: Toronto, ON (M5S 1M2)  and Markham, ON  (L3R 0X1) (4 days per week onsite)

• Consultant will be in more of a processing role, receiving requests and ensuring it matches bookkeeping. They will also input data into book of records.
• The other consultant will be working in a processing role but more focus on trade settlements/ Share Movements/ Creating reports
• andidate will be supporting Segregation Trade, Inputs, & Settlements. They will help ensure compliance with audit requirements based on CIRO regulations. Scope of work primarily involves reaching out to review depository and reach out to relevant parties to request extensions on deliveries, inquire when shares will be received, and settle trades to ensure they can be executed.

Responsibilities may include:

• Trade Settlements
• Share Movements
• Creating reports
•  Internal bookkeeping
•  Timely communication with brokers
•  Responding to correspondence from traders
• Candidate will also be required to provide a broad range of operational support and performs general to specialized transactions and/or other processing activities for own Operations function; communicate with partners in a professional manner, demonstrate clear understanding of clients / partners needs and TD products and processes.

Must Have:

• Relevant administrative experience
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
•  Intermediate Excel Skills (vlookups)
• Speed & accuracy of deliverables

Nice to Have:

•  Banking experience – 1 year
• Prior experience using depositaries – CDS/DTC
• Previous experience in the trade lifecycle (2-5 years)- strong nice to have

Education:

• Diploma in any discipline
