Job Title: Release Manager
Duration: 6-month contract 
Location: Oakland - remote but might need to come in from time to time.
 
About the Team: We are working on building autonomous delivery robots from the ground-up and other automation solutions as part of the client's core delivery platform. About the Role: As the Release Manager at the client,

• Responsible for managing all of our SW releases, including Autonomous Public Roads releases.
• You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Be part of an exciting effort to develop and manufacture an autonomous delivery robot
• Manage multiple releases simultaneously, with differing target uses on public roads
• Work cross-functionally with our AI, software, firmware, hardware, devops and ops teams
• Work closely with our teams in California and Arizona

 

• Min 5+ years of release management experience from projects involving hardware, firmware and software, e.g. autonomous vehicles or robotics
• Strong working knowledge of git
• Strong working knowledge of Confluence and Jira
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an adjacent major
