Position Title: Patient Recruitment Support

Work Location: 3401 Princeton Pike Lawrence Township New Jersey 08648

Assignment Duration: 5 Months

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Work Arrangement: 50% onsite


Position Summary:

The Patient Recruitment Support role will lead the development and execution of scalable, patient-centered recruitment strategies that enhance awareness and enrollment across the company clinical trials. Reporting to the Director Global Patient Recruitment, this role plays a pivotal part in transforming how patients are engaged throughout the trial journey, ensuring recruitment efforts are insight-driven, inclusive, and operationally aligned with the company’s scientific priorities.

This role will work cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Global Development, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and external partners to deliver tailored recruitment solutions that address study-specific needs while supporting enterprise-wide objectives. This position will be accountable for driving measurable impact on enrollment timelines, diversity outcomes, and patient experience in alignment with regulatory expectations and ethical standards. This role is critical in advancing company’s commitment to inclusive, efficient, and impactful clinical research by delivering scalable, insight-informed recruitment strategies that support trial outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive patient recruitment strategies at the protocol level, leveraging a broad mix of tactics, including partnerships with patient advocacy groups, recruitment vendors, digital solutions to enhance trial awareness, enrollment, and participant experience in alignment with overarching trial goals and timelines.
• Drive enrollment acceleration by aligning recruitment strategy with operational delivery, ensuring strategies and tactics are executed efficiently and effectively across global and regional trial teams.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Global Development Operations to align recruitment timelines and dynamic adjustments to strategy. Provide clear, ongoing performance updates to leadership.
• Champion innovation in patient recruitment and engagement, staying informed of external trends, best practices, and patient expectations while positioning the company as a preferred sponsor among clinical sites and communities.
• Partner with enterprise key functions to integrate new technologies, platforms, and channels that elevate recruitment outcomes and patient engagement.
• Contribute to therapeutic area–specific engagement strategies, providing insights on scalability, feasibility, and relevance to support tailored execution across studies.
• Define and monitor recruitment performance metrics, including enrollment velocity, trial diversity, patient retention, and experience. Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and effectively demonstrate their impact continually.
• Enable the global and regional operationalization of recruitment strategies by ensuring trial teams are equipped with the necessary tools, guidance, and messaging to implement outreach effectively and compliantly.
• Conduct comprehensive stakeholder mapping across global, regional, and local levels to identify key organizations and their capability to partner on clinical trial awareness partnerships.


Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, public health, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trial recruitment, patient engagement, or related functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
• Demonstrated success in designing and executing global or regional patient recruitment strategies, across diverse therapeutic areas.
• Experience collaborating in matrixed, cross-functional environments, including Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Patient Advocacy.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations related to patient-facing recruitment and outreach materials.
• Proven ability to translate patient insights, trial data, and operational priorities into effective recruitment strategies that accelerate enrollment and improve trial diversity.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple studies, competing priorities, and timelines in a dynamic environment.
