Position Overview:
The Data and Reporting Analyst II is responsible for developing data visualizations, performing advanced data analysis, ensuring data quality, and supporting reporting initiatives. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that support executive and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Visualization & Dashboard Development

Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports for executive and operational stakeholders

Create interactive visualizations that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and insights
-
Establish and enforce visualization best practices and standards across the organization

Optimize dashboard performance for large-scale datasets
Data Analysis & SQL Development

Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data for analysis

Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets to support business objectives

Develop and maintain data models that support reporting needs
Data Quality & Integration
-
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and integrity
-
Review data integrity and movement controls as part of ETL and data engineering processes
-
Support API integration efforts between applications
Communication & Collaboration

Interpret technical concepts and present key metrics and insights to non-technical stakeholders

Work independently or as part of a cross-functional team

Adapt quickly to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications:
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
Experience
-
3–5 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Tableau (intermediate level)

2–4 years of experience working with cloud databases such as Snowflake
-
Experience in data analytics with the ability to identify trends and patterns
-
Familiarity with ETL and data engineering processes

Some experience with API integration between applications

Basic experience in requirements analysis and project management
-
1–2 years of basic object-oriented programming experience
Technical Skills
-
Tableau: Intermediate proficiency in calculated fields, parameters, table calculations, and dashboard design
-
SQL: Strong skills in writing complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

Cloud Databases: Working experience with Snowflake or similar platforms
-
ETL/Data Prep: Familiarity with data pipelines, integrity checks, and movement controls

Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite

Programming: Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Domain Knowledge

Basic knowledge of financial compliance data and reporting requirements
Soft Skills

Excellent communicator with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Tableau Desktop Certified Data Analyst or Tableau Server Certified Associate

Experience with Python or R for data analysis

Knowledge of other BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Qlik)

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Industry experience in financial services or compliance-related environments
