Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple, competing requests in a fast-paced Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D) environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Dynamic Workflows: Effectively manage and prioritize multiple, competing requests in a fast-moving MA&D environment.
  • Maintain Composure Under Pressure: Navigate high-stress scenarios with calm professionalism, ensuring clear communication and focused problem-solving.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including those in challenging or high-pressure interactions.
  • Infrastructure Expertise: Leverage a solid understanding of infrastructure systems and data flows to address technical challenges and enable smooth transitions.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a trusted mediator to resolve conflicts and competing priorities, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
  • Proactive Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimizing workflows and processes to better meet the demands of the program.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analysis to anticipate needs, inform decisions, and track progress toward key milestones.
  • Adaptable Leadership: Adjust strategies dynamically to align with shifting organizational priorities and goals.
  • Grit: Demonstrated ability to persevere through challenges with determination, focus, and creativity, finding solutions even in complex or high-pressure situations
Qualifications:
  • Project Management Expertise: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in infrastructure or IT environments.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional ability to foster collaboration, de-escalate tension, and maintain a professional yet positive work environment.
  • Composure and Resilience: Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure, maintaining a solution-oriented focus at all times.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with infrastructure systems, data flows, and IT service delivery in MA&D contexts is highly desirable.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse audiences and convey complex information clearly.

Key qualifications include:
  • Candidates with PMP certification and MA&D experience will be considered first
  • Proven project management skills, including methodology and best practices
  • Ability to manage long-term, complex projects with resilience and stamina
  • Immediate responsiveness and proactive follow-up, essential for building strong relationships with Buyers
  • Excellent communication skills with associates at all levels, using a professional and collaborative tone
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of infrastructure and engineering concepts
  • Experience with ServiceNow PPM module (preferred; candidates with this experience will be prioritized)
  • Must have hands-on use of ServiceNow for full project lifecycle management, including:
  • Tasks and milestones
  • Baselined schedules
  • Risks and issues
  • Identifying critical paths
  • Adjusting work to accommodate shifting priorities
