Job Description:
Client is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer/SRE to join their Firco Insight team, responsible for managing and evolving a complex CI/CD pipeline that spans Octopus Deploy, GitHub, and AWS infrastructure. This role will focus on customizing, stabilizing, and automating deployment workflows across 40+ environments and 400+ servers.
Key Responsibilities:
Note: Since the candidate will have access to the development environment and/or PII, they are required to complete in-person verification at a Spectraforce office as part of onboarding compliance.

Job Description:
Client is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer/SRE to join their Firco Insight team, responsible for managing and evolving a complex CI/CD pipeline that spans Octopus Deploy, GitHub, and AWS infrastructure. This role will focus on customizing, stabilizing, and automating deployment workflows across 40+ environments and 400+ servers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and stabilize CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions, OCL/HCL/Terraform with a focus on security
- Create and update/simplify deployment scripts using PowerShell
- Assist in troubleshooting existing configurations relating to Terraform
- Collaborate with development and SRE teams to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual intervention
- Manage secrets using AWS KMS and GitHub Secrets Write and maintain reusable scripts and templates for deployment automation
- 8 years in DevOps/SRE roles Hands-on experience with Octopus Deploy or similar deployment orchestration tools
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell Solid understanding of GitHub workflows and GitHub Actions
- Experience with AWS services and architecture
- High School Diploma
- Intimate familiarity with complex Deployment Systems
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- SRE experience would be a nice to have
