Job Title: Patient Accounts Coordinator – Support
Location: 5832 Beach Blvd Ste 201 Buena Park, CA 90621
Duration of Assignment: 13 weeks, High possible extension no guarantees
Work hours: 8:30AM-5PM M-F

Must Haves:

• Professional, polished presentation is required, as this is a front office role.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology (required).
• EMR experience is required, with preference for Cerner, PBAR, and scheduling software.
• Familiarity with word processing and IDX systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

 
Nice to Have:

• Bilingual in Korean/English preferred, but not required.

 
Details:

• Has in depth knowledge of all the functions of the front office. Coordinates clinic schedules, patient appointments and follow up care.
• Answers patient phone calls, prepare charts for visits and chart transfer to infusion office.
• Assist the office with clerical duties including but not limited to disability forms, patient letters and daily new patient charts.
• Must work with any and every physician in the Oncology Hematology Clinic. Other duties as assigned.
• Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently.
• Must be comfortable with computers and medical terminology.
• In depth knowledge of all insurance types
