Location: Remote (Standard working hours; no time zone preference)
Duration: 6 months (extension up to 1 year based on performance)
Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Role Overview
In this critical role within the Precision Medicine Unit, the Precision Medicine Program Manager (PM) partners closely with the Precision Medicine Lead (PML) to develop and execute precision medicine strategies supporting asset development across the product lifecycle. The PM serves as the steward of cross-functional teams and drives integrated planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality Precision Medicine programs.

Role Overview
In this critical role within the Precision Medicine Unit, the Precision Medicine Program Manager (PM) partners closely with the Precision Medicine Lead (PML) to develop and execute precision medicine strategies supporting asset development across the product lifecycle. The PM serves as the steward of cross-functional teams and drives integrated planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality Precision Medicine programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary steward of Precision Medicine Team (PMT) timelines, study execution, and team efficiency by driving strategic planning and execution of integrated PMed plans aligned to asset strategy and value.
- Apply project management best practices across project planning, initiation, execution, QA/QC, and closeout while driving decision-making and trade-offs.
- Co-lead content development with the PML for cross-functional forums such as PMAFs, Portal Reviews, and Governance meetings.
- Conduct critical path analyses, challenge assumptions, ensure accountability, and communicate key inflection points with mitigation strategies.
- Act as an integrator across Evidence Generation Teams (EGTs), Product Teams (PTs), Discovery Biomarkers, platform functions, and IVD/Dx activities.
- Drive risk management and asset-wide communication plans.
- Ensure on-time delivery across scope, schedule, and budget; challenge delays and escalate changes appropriately.
- Apply best-practice project management methodologies aligned with global commercialization processes.
- Lead Agile teams and pivot quickly in response to changes in scientific or strategic assumptions.
- Ensure meeting effectiveness, maintain MS Teams and Smartsheet documentation, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- PhD or Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant PM experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant PM experience OR
- Associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant PM experience
- Technical or scientific background with 6+ years of industry or academic experience
- Prior pharma, consulting, or drug development experience with governance exposure
- Experience across drug development lifecycle including:
- Research (early or late)
- Diagnostics
- Novel biomarkers
- Computational Biology
- Real-World Evidence (RWE)
- Strong program and project management experience in healthcare environments
- Ability to operationalize strategic initiatives through cross-functional planning
- High emotional intelligence; ability to influence without authority in matrix environments
- Experience using PM and AI/ML tools within biopharma
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and PM tools (Smartsheet, Planisware, SharePoint)
- Finance and budget management experience
- PMP certification preferred
- Knowledge of SOPs, GCPs, and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership in complex, multi-functional environments
- Clinical Program Management experience
- Clinical Trial Operations experience
- Scientific / Drug Development experience
- Experience in late research and early development programs
- Exposure to one or more therapeutic areas:
- Obesity
- Cardiovascular / Metabolic
