Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent
Location: Livermore, CA
Duration: 6  Months
 
Job Details:

• They’re a construction manager with construction manager experience.
• May label themselves as project managers, but:
• This is someone who would be on site full time for client.
• Representing clients as a general contractor.
• Managing subcontractors.

 
Core responsibilities

• Managing schedules.
• Managing safety on the job site.

 
Will be paired with:

• Client’s safety manager.
• Client’s construction project manager (hybrid onsite/offsite).
• Superintendent will be 100% onsite.

 
Technical requirements:

• Focused on:
• Delivery of work.
• “Three-week look ahead.”
• Tracking schedule progress.
• Facilitating RFIs.
• Working with engineering team.
• Managing subcontractor execution.
• Specifically HVAC: Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cooling.
• Chillers, boilers, cooling towers.

 
This opportunity involves:
One or two chillers on each of the projects.

• Larger chillers.
• If they have chiller experience, that would be best.
• General HVAC delivery.
• Residential does not apply.
• Really want someone with commercial, ideally more industrial, larger scale.
• HVAC experience at a federal site would be golden.
• Federal HVAC experience = higher rigor, different dynamic.
