Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect
Location: Rosemead, CA (Onsite – 2244 Walnut Grove Ave, Rosemead, CA 91770)
Duration: 12 Months Position Overview
Client is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead and guide enterprise-level security architecture initiatives.
This role bridges IT, engineering, product, and cybersecurity teams to design and implement secure solutions across:

• On-prem environments
• Hybrid environments
• SaaS platforms
• Cloud environments

The ideal candidate will translate business and regulatory requirements into secure architecture designs, standards, and repeatable security patterns that enable teams to build securely.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Cybersecurity Architecture Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Design and review enterprise security architectures
• Develop security reference architectures, standards, and design patterns
• Conduct architecture and design reviews for new initiatives
• Define security requirements and control objectives
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity technology teams
• Document security decisions, risks, and remediation strategies
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering and cyber teams
• Support audit and compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO, CIS frameworks)

 
Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT, Information Security, or Cybersecurity
• Experience designing enterprise-scale security architectures
• Strong experience in:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Network segmentation
  • Encryption & data protection
  • Logging & monitoring
  • Vulnerability management
  • Endpoint/workload security
• Experience working in iterative delivery models (Agile environments)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical security designs

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of cloud cybersecurity experience
• Experience with:
  • Hybrid security architectures (on-prem + cloud + SaaS)
  • Zero Trust frameworks
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Secure SDLC / DevSecOps
  • CI/CD security controls
  • SIEM/SOC collaboration
  • Security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
