Engineering Technician I
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Holtsville, NY On-site 5 days a week

Job Summary:
The Engineering Technician I will support our Engineering support team by performing hardware prototyping tasks. They will assist in developing and troubleshooting our hardware products across various environments and gain exposure to a wide range of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in performing electrical and mechanical prototyping operations. (PCB, cable, and device modification.)
• Read and interpret controlled documentation, processes, and instructions.
• Operate test equipment and tools, such as (soldering iron, power meters and oscilloscopes, calipers...) under guidance.
• Communicate with engineers, record, and document results.
• Participate in the maintenance of test equipment and facilities in accordance with ISO9001 under guidance.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in hand soldering and SMT
• Basic understanding of MS office suite, basic mathematic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma/ GED. Associate’s degree in a technical discipline preferred

Minimum Work Experience (years)

• 0-2 years of direct work experience in similar industry
