Job Summary
Client is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Desktop Support Technician to join our Internal Technology Service Center. This role focuses on providing real-time technology support and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) to client's employees. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent customer service skills, and demonstrates a strong “can-do” attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers.
- Perform system administration for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X desktops and laptops.
- Deliver phone and remote support as required.
- Deploy and reclaim computer equipment while maintaining accurate records in the asset management database.
- Document work and support activities using tools such as Remedy and Clarity.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Desktop Support Technicians in a large service center supporting over 6,000 users.
- Provide excellent customer service to Client's employees at multiple sites.
- Assist with move, add, or change requests for internal technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field OR 1–3 years of recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide Service Center environment.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X technical support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work at multiple sites as needed.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools such as Remedy or Clarity.
- Previous experience in hardware deployment and asset management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting a large internal technology environment.
