Job Title: CPD&D Laboratory Technician
Duration: 12 Months
Location: 46077, Indianapolis, IN
Shift Times: 8am-4:30pm
In this role, you will support laboratory operations focused on discovering novel and sustainable crop protection solutions. The ideal candidate is a motivated biologist with hands-on lab experience who works well in a team-based, multidisciplinary environment and can communicate clearly with scientific stakeholders.

In this role, you will support laboratory operations focused on discovering novel and sustainable crop protection solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Follow written instructions, laboratory methods, and workflow charts through completion
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory operations, including:
- Equipment monitoring
- Periodic lab cleaning
- Managing reagents, central supplies, and inventory
- Laboratory waste handling and general lab maintenance
- Maintain accurate documentation using an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN)
- Adhere to Client's safety standards, including:
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Correct waste stream handling
- Demonstrate strong organization, time management, and communication skills
- Collaborate effectively within a dynamic, cross-functional laboratory team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or another related science field
- Prior laboratory experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to analyze and interpret data using standard software tools
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cell culture and aseptic techniques
- Experience preparing media and buffer recipes
- Background in microbiology
- Experience with data entry and data management
Safety & Physical Requirements
- Medical Surveillance Testing: Not required
- Allergen Exposure: Plants, fungus, latex, chemicals
- Special Equipment Required: Closed-toe, waterproof shoes
