Job Description:
Client is seeking a Program Manager to lead critical transportation operations and automation initiatives across a global network. This role drives execution of multiple high-impact programs focused on yard automation, operational technology deployments, security authentication programs, and AI-enabled gate and yard solutions across logistics operations.
The Program Manager will own end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders across regions, and ensure successful pilot and scale deployments.

The Program Manager will own end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders across regions, and ensure successful pilot and scale deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead end-to-end program management for 8+ concurrent strategic initiatives including yard automation, authentication programs (2FA/MFA), RFID seal deployment, driver identity, AI gate automation, and autonomous yard solutions
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, delivery timelines, and milestone tracking across workstreams
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple organizations (operations, tech, safety, PMO, and business teams)
- Drive alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities
- Facilitate decision-making with senior leadership
- Partner with business lines and regional teams to drive program adoption and rollout execution
- Develop and execute communication and adoption strategies for technology deployments
- Manage multi-region stakeholders across international expansion programs
- Provide regular status updates, risk reports, and executive summaries
- Lead pilot site selection, readiness alignment, and launch support with field and yard teams
- Coordinate vendor deliverables and external partner timelines
- Drive SOP documentation and training rollout for operations teams
- Define success metrics and track pilot performance
- Recommend scale decisions based on measurable results
- Partner with engineering teams to triage and close technical issues and bugs
- Manage PMO approvals and compliance requirements
- Track deployment blockers and drive resolution
- Support workflow adoption and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify cross-program dependencies across technology, operations, and business teams
- Proactively surface risks and build mitigation strategies
- Create contingency plans and drive urgent issue resolution
- Ensure alignment on timelines, resources, and delivery commitments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of program or project management experience in technology or operations
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments (preferred)
- Strong technical acumen with ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree
- PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
- Experience with automation technologies or IoT deployments
- Background in security or authentication systems
- International program management experience
- Vendor and external partner management experience
