IT Business Planning Analyst
Location: United States (Remote)
Type: 6 months Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Must support West Coast teams (Pacific/Central coverage preferred)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Analyst / Project Financial Analyst / Project Coordinator to support the Digital Sales & Service Technology organization. This role focuses on business planning, operational support, financial tracking, and workforce coordination across technical and non-technical teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial and project acumen, a startup mentality, and the ability to drive execution in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Operational Support

Support financial forecasting, quarterly labor/non-labor updates, and reporting to finance teams.

Track CapEx/OpEx actuals vs. forecast, investigate variances, and assist with accrual accuracy.

Process purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices, reconciliations, and corrections.

Maintain accurate tracking of project and BAU financials.
Project & Workforce Coordination

Interface with technical teams to ensure:

Time sheet compliance

Proper booking to project codes or OpEx/CapEx

Track workforce documentation, contracts, and headcount.

Coordinate across finance, vendors, contract review, risk management, and business teams.

Manage lists of application team requests, follow up on action items, and ensure timely responses.

Act as leadership’s day-to-day operational point of visibility, keeping stakeholders informed.
Required Qualifications

Experience in project coordination, financial analysis, or business planning within IT or technology environments.

Strong understanding of:

Financial forecasting, budgets, and project codes

Operational tracking and reporting

Highly proactive communicator who can effectively follow up with technical teams.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working across time zones.
Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with project management tools or systems.

Exposure to IT environments (technical knowledge not required).

Experience in financially regulated or enterprise organizations.
