Position Title: Inventory Control Clerk I
Work Location: Newark, DE 19702
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Position Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for daily inventory management tasks, monitoring inventory aging, and facilitating the cycle count program. This role also represents support for internal and external observations/audits related to inventory control and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the cycle count program and performs cycle counts and research as needed to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Drives metrics, runs reports and compiles/presents as needed for Warehouse department.
- Monitors aging inventory items and lots including expiration management.
- Strategize and execute plans to address space constraints and improve capacity.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Interact with internal and external auditors to explain documentation and processes.
- Collaborate with Material Handling and Manufacturing regarding transactional functions in the ERP system, such as material identification, quantity verification, and put-away locations.
- Perform data entry and prepare documentation as needed.
- Maintain storage areas and other warehouse areas in a neat, clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Complete housekeeping and area organization audits.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by the manager, supervisor, or group leader.
- Flexibility on the working hours/shifts and overtime (weekends).
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Management System regulation (QMSR), ISO standards, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

- Participate in regular training and complete all training on time.
Qualification & Experience:
- High School education or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related experience
- Experience in an FDA controlled environment
- Forklift certification is preferred and experience with all kinds of power equipment for warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge for Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and Agile.
- Working knowledge of MRP systems essential.
