Position Summary
The Pharmacology Associate supports drug development and research by conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing pharmacological data, and assisting in the evaluation of drug efficacy and safety. This role works closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic programs in a research-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in vivo experiments to assess drug activity and efficacy.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) data.
- Prepare reagents, maintain laboratory equipment, and manage sample inventory.
- Collaborate with research teams to support preclinical and clinical studies.
- Assist in the development of protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Present findings in team meetings and contribute to scientific publications.
- Stay current with advancements in pharmacology and related technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of pharmacological principles and in vivo laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as GraphPad Prism, Excel, and R.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow complex experimental protocols.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with animal handling and dosing techniques is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in a research or pharmaceutical laboratory setting.
