Position Title: Lab Assistant / Technician
Work Location: Tucson AZ USA 85755
Assignment Duration: 12 months
Work Schedule: M-F, 7AM to 4:00PM MST
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
Support laboratory experiments and research activities.
Prepare lab materials and samples for testing.
Background & Context:
Support diagnostic and research laboratory operations for The Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support laboratory experiments and research activities
• Prepare lab materials and samples for testing
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
• Assist with data collection and documentation
• Maintain lab inventory and equipment
• Maintain and service diagnostics lab equipment
• Perform slide scanning and maintain scanning and diagnostic equipment
Qualification & Experience:
• 0–5 years of experience
• Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public
• Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices
• Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred
