Position Title: UX Designer III
Duration: 6 months (posssibility of extension and conversion)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9–5 - Hybrid – 3 days in office moving to 4 days eventually

Job Description Summary
Deliver content designs for multiple projects by creating, evaluating, and modifying the language used on tools, apps, prototypes and websites. Conduct ideation sessions, develop concepts and innovate using design thinking methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, design and execute future-state and near-term cross channel content experiences
Writing, editing and proofreading skills
Apply user-centered design methodologies to ensure content is accessible and based on customer needs
Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including product ideation and definition, user research, feature team scoping/planning, estimating effort, design, post-launch evaluation and stakeholder communication
Collaborate with Experience Design Leads, Product Owners and engineers to develop the best solution for customers
Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals and physical control of assets)
Participate in cross-functional / enterprise / initiatives as a content design expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations
Conduct internal and external content projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
Acts as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialty or a resource for others integrating the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own area
Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders
Independently performs tasks from end to end
Takes direction from Content Design Lead, and aligns with Product Owner, Tech Leads, Experience Design Lead, and Control Partners

Familiarity of Canadian government plain language standards act
Accessible Canada act experience
Years of Overall Experience:
5+ years of experience, preferably in digital, conversation or content design

A passion for great experience design
Degree / Level of Education:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
NICE-TO-HAVE
