Position Title: Assembler: I
Work Location: 595 Anglum Drive, Hazelwood, MO 63042
Assignment Duration: 3 months
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
To perform assembly, refurbishment, subassembly and test functions of electrical and mechanical components and final product to meet quality standards and the production schedule.
Provide mentor training to others as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Assists in set-up on all stations and benches as assigned.

Checks documentation to assure that the correct data forms are present and contain the correct identifying information – lot#, product name, date, etc.

Performs all production per schedule by processing through the production steps as described by procedures.

Documents all necessary information on the DHR forms following Good Documentation Practices.

Assists with maintaining physical separation of lots using separation and segregation practices and equipment.

Cleans and organizes work area before, during and after production runs.

Helps train coworkers in correct processes, procedures and machine operation.

Performs and records production counts of finished product and transports finished product to the designated area.

Assists with end-of-shift or end-of-day shutdown including equipment shut down as necessary.

Helps process product designated as nonconforming according to NCMR instructions.
Qualification & Experience:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

1+ years manufacturing experience and assembly of electro mechanical parts preferred.

Must have knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Good housekeeping and organization habits.

Ability to multi-task and maintain focus.
-
Mental alertness regarding process parameters, accuracy and safety.

Strong attention to detail to detect visual quality problems.

Ability to follow written and oral directions.

Must communicate well with others related to daily execution of production.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
-
Repetitive hand and arm motions.
-
Ability to climb steps.
-
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
-
Pushing wheeled carts up to 400 lbs fully loaded.

Appropriate gowning requirements including lab coats.
-
Excellent personal hygiene required.
-
Occasional environmental odors may be present
