Overview:
  • Seeking a Technical Program Manager with 5–10 years of experience working with technical teams. The candidate will manage, prioritize, and drive impact across a portfolio of data science projects and initiatives. This role blends advanced analytics, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven decision-making and maximize business value.
 
Core Responsibilities
Portfolio Oversight & Strategic Alignment
  • Drive visibility and execution of key operational and transformative data science initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to identify long-term plans, priorities, and critical focus areas
  • Align technical roadmaps with organizational OKRs and business objectives
  • Prepare and present summary reports on milestones, status, and success metrics for the portfolio
 
Project Intake & Resource Management
  • Develop and streamline processes for project intake and resource balancing
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources across multiple projects and teams
  • Monitor and improve adherence to deadlines, reduce delays, and increase project throughput
 
Analytical Leadership
  • Leverage advanced analytical techniques to draw insights from structured and unstructured data
  • Guide teams in analytical design, modeling, and data visualization to support decision-making
  • Apply emerging quantitative tools and techniques to enhance research conclusions
 
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, IDC Pillars)
  • Facilitate strategic discussions and planning sessions to define key focus areas
  • Ensure consistent messaging and communication across the organization
 
Operational Excellence
  • Track progress to key results and ensure delivery on commitments
  • Provide ongoing support for production incidents and requests
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes, and tools to enhance portfolio performance
 
Qualifications
  • Experience in data science, analytics, project/program/portfolio management
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive organizational priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and visualization
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced environments and manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influencing executive decisions
 
Degrees/Certifications:
  • Nothing specific for degrees
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Assist in tracking and managing the data science project portfolio
  • Support project prioritization and resource allocation
  • Facilitate communication between data science teams and stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation and dashboards related to portfolio status
 
About the Team
Infra Enablement (PMO) within IDC - 7-8 FTE’s, some CW’s
 
How is success defined?
  • Perform day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Enabling SWE function to run end-to-end process and deliver customer requirements
  • Process Improvements - intake, resource assignment, communication/readouts
