Role: Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Remote (20 hours a week, part time)
Duration: 6 months (possibiliy of conversion)

Client’s Value & Access AI and Technology Solutions Team provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings and analytical tools to the Life Sciences industry in 100+ countries around the world. Our healthcare data, software, and consulting expertise combine to help pharmaceutical companies make better strategic and operational decisions. We influence nearly every aspect of decision making in this industry, including pipeline planning, portfolio management, and forecasting models. In helping these companies make better decisions, our software solutions and consulting services help improve quality of life for millions of patients taking therapies around the world.
We are looking for candidates to build a new generation of web-based SaaS tools. You will work directly with Life Sciences clients to structure problems and build new tools to solve those problems alongside our tight-knit group of developers, data scientists, and product managers. A blend of people skills, coding knowledge, and a rigorous understanding of statistical analysis and modeling are considered essential for the job.
We are focused on building best-in-class solutions that are elegant, real-time, and data-focused. As such, this role will require you to develop, pilot, and deploy new products that meet the needs of our customers and the life sciences industry. You will work directly with individuals with 10+ years of experience in the industry, and report to the Software Lead for delivering those products.
Candidates interested in joining the team as a Full Stack Software Engineer must have:
• Up to 4 years of experience in full stack web application development
• Experience in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, C#, .Net, Java, or C / C++)
• Experience with AI based coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and AI techniques like Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, fine-tuning, Advance Prompt Engineering and GraphRAG
• Knowledge of SQL or no-SQL databases (or be willing to learn)
• Direct experience in building tools or models that help customers make better decisions using data and structured methodologies
• Strong analytical abilities. You enjoy absorbing large amounts of data, learning new programming languages, or building quantitative insights based on an understanding of complex systems
• Intellectual curiosity, discipline and attention for structure and details
• Interest in life sciences / healthcare
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
