Job Title: Buyer/Service Parts Planner
Duration: 3+ months | Potential Extension upto 12 months
Location: Allen, TX 75002
Worksite: Hybrid | Flexible Start time (7–8 AM) | Support required across different hours/time frames

• Forecasting & inventory control management
• SAP and/or Oracle experience

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast and plan service parts via MRP system
• Maintain accurate materials and parts master data
• Analyze inventory levels, usage, lead-times, and demand
• Daily review of backlog beyond automated system triggers
• Interface with internal supply planning teams for timely fulfillment
• Communicate parts availability, order status, shipping, and delivery details to stakeholders
• Develop and maintain reports in Tableau, SAP, and Excel
• Create purchase orders, stock transfer orders, and track orders
• Monitor service parts inventory against open purchase orders
• Prepare weekly KPI reports

What Success Looks Like for the Candidate (First 90–120 Days)

• Demonstrates strong purchasing and forecasting capability
• Quickly adapts to ERP workflows (SAP currently, Oracle in the future)
• Effectively manages Excel-based buyer/planner functions
• Contributes to stabilizing inventory and improving planning processes

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering preferred)
• 2–3 years of experience in materials planning, purchasing, or repair parts expediting
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP for purchasing and inventory
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel expertise (analysis, reporting, pivot tables, etc.)

Nice-to-Have

• Industry experience in repair operations or service parts
