Job Title: Electrical Engineer II
Location: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 (Hybrid – In office 3 days a week)
Duration: 10 Months (Potential to Convert to FTE)Job Summary
Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experiments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests a variety of electrical engineering assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project.
• Develops and tests documentation that describes specific electrical functionality.
• Participates in and provides input during project code reviews.
• Runs tests designed by more experienced engineers.
• Reviews test results and performs root cause analyses to identify problems.
• Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues while ensuring compliance with quality processes and standards.
• Makes changes to or upgrades existing electrical designs. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions.
• Makes and implements recommendations to the immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity.
• Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects, or assignments.
• May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel.
• Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.
• Maintains primarily intra-organizational contacts, with occasional inter-organizational and external customer interactions on routine matters.

Nice to Have

• RF (Radio Frequency) experience is desired.

Job Requirements
US Only:

• New Graduate: Master’s degree; must have completed classes or coursework in engineering.
• Experienced Candidate: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.

All Other Regions:

• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Preferred Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience.
