Qualifications
- Responsible for providing technical support for Customers, Agents and/or Service Associates performing complex duties with a high level of technical/business knowledge.
- Ensures excellent customer experience.
- Delivers high quality and productivity results that meet identified SLA targets. Continuously enhances knowledge about Western Union’s AML programs.
- Work is likely to be a mix of both on-line and off-line duties and will be specific to GSI – Government Sanctions Interdiction
- responsible for providing support on AML compliance programs, working with “stopped” payments and making decisions following AML procedures.
- Day-to-day work relates to transaction management, information verification, conducting investigations and servicing inquiries received over the phone or email.
- Assess the AML knowledge when managing transactions and making accurate decisions, communicating to consumers, Agents and/or Service Associates and Executives.
- Conduct in-depth investigations
- Analyze documentation
- Make independent decisions based on decision matrix- Escalate high potential cases- Document actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year in AML, fraud, compliance, or financial services
- Analysis of transactions related to GSI
- Strong analytical & investigative skills, Sanctions knowledge, MS Excel Proficiency, Public database research, independent decisions.
- High autonomy; making independent decisions following a decision matrix
