Job Title: Software Engineer IV
Duration: 06 Months
Location: Bellevue, WA or Menlo Park, CA
Summary:
  • The main function of a software engineer on Lead generation Ads product team is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. They will be responsible for developing and optimizing campaign targeting setup to enhance advertiser budget efficiency.
Must-Have HARD Skills:
  • React and PHP experience
  • Javascript experience
  • Ads development experience
Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Experience owning high-impact projects and driving them from ideation to launch.
  • A/B Test Experience  
  • Data analysis experience
Years of Experience:
  • 4 minimum
Degrees/Certifications Required:
  • Bachelors in computer science
Job Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will contribute to Lead Gen campaign setup automation. 
  • Will be targeting automation by setting up appropriate A/B test experiments, experiment monitoring and
  • experiment analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions: Architect and code robust, scalable software systems tailored to business needs.
  • Drive innovation within the team: Advocate for novel approaches, tools, and technologies to maintain technical excellence.
  • Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.
Skills:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies: Proven track record in designing, building, and deploying machine learning
models.
  • Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through
  • requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Ads Manager change based on A/B test experiment setup
  • A/B test experiment monitoring dashboard setup.
  • Experiment with results, data pull and analysis with data scientists.
Typical day to day:
  • Coding and data analysis
Purpose/Size of this team & where does this position fit within the team:
  • Size of the team: 3 Lead will drive the direction, and the CW will drive the implementation of the projects.
