Job Description

Position Title: Travel Counselor - SABRE 
Work Location: Remote
Assignment Duration: 6 Months Contract
Schedule- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST (open availability required)

About the Role:

As a Travel Consultant, you’ll join a highly skilled remote team supporting corporate business clients. We’re known for our warm and inclusive culture, innovation in the travel technology space, and strong internal mobility and career growth. Many of our Traveler Care leaders began in this role, and team members move across departments throughout.

What You’ll Do:

  • Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers, including individuals and groups

  • Research and analyze travel options, proactively anticipating traveler needs and recommending additional services

  • Arrange and book domestic and international business travel of varying complexity (air, rail, car, and accommodations)

  • Work extensively within the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS)

  • Ensure compliance with client travel policies, supplier policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Deliver excellent customer service using positive and professional telephone techniques

  • Handle special travel requests and resolve customer issues independently or with suppliers

  • Collaborate with teammates to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service quality

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience using native Sabre GDS

  • Corporate travel experience handling domestic and international itineraries

  • Strong understanding of business travel operations

  • Solid knowledge of the travel industry (business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations)

  • Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently

  • Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and continuous improvement
