Job Title: Network Engineer IV
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 7 months (Possibility of extension)

Job Summary
We are seeking a senior-level Network Engineer with strong experience in large-scale optical and IP networks. The engineer will support the design, rollout, and troubleshooting of DWDM and IP-based network infrastructure, working closely with internal technical teams in an onsite environment. This is an ongoing operational need within the organization.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support large-scale DWDM and optical networks
• Perform optical network planning and modeling
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot IP networks
• Support and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
• Work with enterprise router platforms and associated line cards
• Perform deep network analysis and resolve complex issues
• Collaborate with internal engineering and technical teams on day-to-day network operations

 
Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of industry experience in network engineering
• Strong experience with DWDM and optical networking technologies
• Experience using optical planning and modeling tools
• Expert knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF
• Experience with enterprise router platforms, including:
  • Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx (and compatible supervisor/line cards)
• Excellent troubleshooting and network analysis skills
• Strong experience with the following technologies/protocols:
  • DWDM, T1/OTN
  • IPv4 & IPv6
  • TCP (internals & flow control)
  • HSRP / GLBP
  • PIMv2, IGMP, LDP
  • TACACS
  • IPSEC & VPNs
  • NetFlow
  • DNS, HTTP
