Duration: 12 months
Location: Schaumburg IL 60196
Worksite: Onsite | Mon - Fri | 9:00 AM – 05:00 PM
- Analyze and troubleshoot 2-way radios and repeaters
- Create or modify cable assemblies
- Rework electronic circuits, including: 0201 size components, Standard SOICs, Fine-pitch BGAs
- Test radios and repeaters for product certification
- Track prototype radios and repeaters
- Read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts
- Stay organized and effectively multitask
- Technical Associate’s Degree
- 4+ years of experience working with radio circuits
- Strong understanding and interest in radio operations
- Proficiency with test equipment, including: Multimeters, Oscilloscopes
- Strong soldering and rework skills, including:
- Replacing 0201 components, SOICs, and BGAs
- Rework using small-gauge wire (32 AWG or smaller)
- Analyze and troubleshoot 2-way radios and repeaters
- Create and modify cable assemblies
- Perform circuit rework on 0201 parts, SOICs, and fine-pitch BGAs
- Test radios and repeaters for product certification
- Track and manage prototype radios and repeaters
- Hands-on experience in circuit-level testing is preferred
- Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Technical Associate’s Degree
- 4+ years of experience troubleshooting radio circuits
- Strong understanding of radio operations
- Proficiency with multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Skilled in soldering and replacing 0201 parts, SOICs, and BGAs
- Skilled in rework using small-gauge wire (32 AWG or smaller)
- Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL and PCB Layout Editor
- Familiarity with LabVIEW and Python (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL
