Job Title: Technical Specialist/Scientist 1
Duration: 12 months
Location: 1241 S. Grand Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705
Work Type: Hybrid - Onsite Tue & Wed - M-F 8-5

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing FAN PCC EPT forms and supporting end-point testing for field equipment.
• Performing data validation, equipment validation, and resolving mismatches.
• Updating and maintaining mapping & modeling records for automated devices and grid assets.
• Contributing to wildfire mitigation efforts through protective device support.
• Assisting with documentation, reporting, and compliance activities

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of engineering experience, preferably in distribution systems or field operations.
• Experience with CYME or similar power system analysis software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
