Job Title: Packaging operator
Shift: B Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts, 2/2/3 rotation
Location -Oak Hill (DRM)
 

Interview Note: Hiring manager interviews are typically held on Saturdays or Sundays. Weekend availability is required.

Role Summary

Operate high-speed, fully automated toothpaste packaging lines (up to 450 tubes/min) while ensuring safety, quality, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate automated packaging equipment

• Handle packaging materials and finished goods

• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment

• Perform basic (autonomous) maintenance; assist with preventive maintenance

• Conduct quality checks and document results

• Complete batch documentation in computerized systems

• Use SAP to track materials from receipt to finished product

• Perform inventory counts

• Follow GMP, SOPs, and all safety/compliance procedures

• Support process improvement and waste reduction efforts

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Able to work 12-hour shifts (every other weekend off)

• Basic computer skills (data entry, email, MS Word/Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing/production experience

• Equipment maintenance or changeover experience

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods

• Overtime flexibility

• Forklift/pallet jack experience

• Basic math skills; familiar with kg/lb measurements
