Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Location: Louisville, CO (Onsite only)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Level: Mid-Level (2- 6 years experience)
Role Description
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer (Contractor) to support a growing portfolio of electromechanical medical devices with embedded software. This mid-level role focuses primarily on manual software testing, with opportunities to contribute to test automation.
This position offers potential for extension or long-term engagement based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities

Support software testing for electromechanical medical devices

Analyze requirements and create test cases for software V&V

Perform manual testing including dry runs, smoke testing, and integration testing

Identify, log, and track software defects

Develop and maintain automated test cases

Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams

Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

2–6 years of experience in software testing (manual with some automation)
Nice to Have
-
Experience with test automation using Python and/or LabVIEW

Background in embedded systems testing

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps
