Job Title: DevOps Engineer –  Salesforce
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote

Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer will be part of the Client Technology Services (CTS) and Sales, Services & Marketing Technology (SSMT) team, supporting Clients representative-facing technologies. This is an individual contributor role responsible for building, managing, and overseeing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce platforms.

The role works closely with Salesforce platform teams, DevOps engineers, Product Owners, leadership, and cross-functional technology groups to plan, coordinate, and execute reliable software releases in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage application release schedules, ad-hoc projects, and infrastructure initiatives across multiple environments and scrum teams

  • Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications

  • Automate Salesforce releases and deployment processes to improve efficiency and delivery speed

  • Protect sandbox and production environments by applying strong controls, ensuring availability and security compliance

  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple development teams and integrated systems

  • Communicate deployment plans, risks, and status clearly to all stakeholders throughout the release lifecycle

  • Support release triage activities, including occasional evening support as neede

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an enterprise software delivery environment

  • 5+ years managing release pipelines for complex, mission-critical applications

  • Strong expertise with CI/CD tools in cloud environments (GitHub, GitHub Actions; Copado is a plus)

  • Experience with branching strategies, code reviews, and release governance

  • Hands-on experience documenting and improving CI/CD processes and best practices

  • Knowledge of data masking techniques to protect sensitive Salesforce data

  • Understanding of advanced release strategies (deployments, tagging, versioning, automation)

  • Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation

  • Proficiency with Salesforce CLI for managing metadata and scratch orgs

  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Remedy

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Platform Developer

  • Strong ownership mindset with a focus on stakeholder satisfaction

  • Proven ability to collaborate with Developers, Release Management, Production teams, and leadership
