Pay Rate: $13.23
Shift: Must have full availability to work rotating shifts based on business needs. Work schedules are subject to change and may include, but are not limited to, the following shifts:

• 1st shift:  6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide services to Quality Control Laboratories such as: collect, wash and return glassware in a timely manner to every laboratory.
• Received and storage reagents and laboratory materials following EHS recommendations and regulations of EPA.
• Perform auxiliary services as requested by laboratories such as disposing of bio waste.
• Receive and distribute laboratory materials.
• Organize the laboratory glassware and materials following 5S program requirements.
• Keep the laboratory reagent inventory without expired material.
• Organize the laboratory freezers, refrigerators, and incubators.
• Maintain organize the laboratory freezers, refrigerators, and incubators.
• Maintain samples inventory weekly updated of the laboratory equipment and manage daily laboratory samples.
• Supply laboratory drawers with the materials available always.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing fields or Associate Degree in sciences with no experience or Bachelor's Degree.
• Knowledge in laboratory reagents and compatibility.
• Computer knowledge such as Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, English (Intermediate English communication) and Spanish.
• Availability to work overtime and off Schedule when required.
• High organization skills, responsible and strong attention to detail.
• Manage request projects with minimum supervision.
• Good interpersonal relations skills (Team Work)

Working Conditions:

• Working conditions are varied since incumbent will subject to laboratory and storage room environment. Also the incumbent will access areas that have the potential of being dangerous. The incumbent works in a Chemical and Microbiology Laboratory. Safety precautions must be taken due to the daily handling of chemicals, biohazard samples and pressurized gases.
• Provide assistance to operations in the control, management and disposal of household wastes, biomedical and hazardous to their respective area as applicable, ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations and policies following the procedures of the plant, division and corporation.
• Be able to move material lift up to 30Lb.
• Long periods of time standing (up to 8 hours or more).
