we're looking for SQL/ETL/Data Migration experience (Oracle/Azur ---> GCP).
 
REQUEST:

• Implement a hybrid on-prem + Google Cloud archival solution to handle growing manufacturing data volumes.
• Establish automated data lifecycle management with CDC pipelines, tiered storage, and systematic local cleanup.
• Provide reliable, governed, audit-ready data storage for 21 CFR Part 11 and  legal/compliance requirements.
• Reduce reliance on costly Azure VM and excess SQL Server licenses by transitioning workloads to GCP.

 
OUTCOME:

• Increase scalability of the data architecture across global sites by offloading bulk and historical data to Google Cloud.
• Improve manufacturing reliability and uptime by keeping only essential “hot” data local, reducing downtime risk.
• Lower long-term costs by achieving ~94% reduction in annual storage cost per TB (from $246/TB to $15/TB) and decreasing hardware expansion needs.
• Enhance compliance and audit readiness with long-term data retention, governed access, and automated retrieval within milliseconds.
