Job Description

Position Title: Project Coordinator I
Work Location: US-IL-Lake County (1 N Waukegan Road)
Assignment Duration: 3 months
Work Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours per week. Typically two 8-hour days (Wednesday & Thursday), with flexibility to spread hours across Tuesday–Thursday.
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator ensures the efficient daily operation of the EEDI office by managing administrative tasks, providing support to staff and management, and maintaining a well-organized environment.
This role requires exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Background & Context:
This role supports the EEDI (Equity, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) team by providing administrative and coordination support for an enterprise-wide learning and development program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the team's SharePoint site and digital file folders to ensure all documents are organized, easy to find, and consistently up to date.

  • Keep project files organized and assist in tracking project tasks to ensure timely completion.

  • Provide meeting support, including scheduling meetings, managing team calendars, and coordinating office hours.

  • Assist in creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and status reports, ensuring high-quality and professional formatting.

  • Execute rigorous follow-up on assigned tasks and actions to support project progress and accountability.

  • Automate tasks using Outlook rules and Word templates.

  • Create professional materials such as reports and presentations for leadership.

  • Manage data in Excel for inventory and tracking.

  • Ensure consistency across documents and presentations.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

  • Experience level: 1–3 years.
