Job Description

Job Title: Program Manager V
Location: US-based, remote, must work eastern time zone hours
Duration: 9 months
 
This contract role will be responsible for building and executing governance mechanisms and meetings in support of executive stakeholders (internal and external) across multiple locations and time zones. The contractor will support and manage strategic projects and programs that enable team goals, priorities, and rhythm of business.
 
A critical requirement for this role is demonstrated expertise in leveraging AI tools to build, optimize, and scale business processes and reporting structures.
 
Key Responsibilities
Governance
  • Develop, manage, and iterate governing frameworks and reporting mechanisms to track progress against goals and priorities, including data collection and analysis.
  • Utilize AI tools to automate, enhance, and scale governance processes and reporting structures.
  • Create regular updates (monthly/quarterly) on progress against goals and priorities, consolidating information from various sources and presenting it in a clear and concise manner for executive audiences.
Project Management
  • Evaluate program/project requests to determine alignment with organizational goals, identify opportunities for synergy, and inform prioritization decisions.
  • Analyze program/project requirements to develop a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs, business operations, and technical constraints, informing the development of effective solutions.
  • Recommend lightweight programmatic solutions that address identified requirements and align with the client’s goals, including proposals for program/project approaches, frameworks, and resource needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business units, and stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and ensure programmatic solutions align with their needs.
  • Implement program/project management solutions to support teams in achieving deliverables on time and at the agreed level of quality, including communication plans, scope, risk management, and addressing roadblocks.
  • Identify and align on exit criteria, ensuring seamless transition to teams responsible for ongoing management. Document all improvement activities, methodologies, changes implemented, and outcomes achieved. Disseminate findings, recommendations, and insights to relevant stakeholders.
Communication
  • Develop and implement effective internal communications, including executive briefs, business reviews, and operational performance updates to keep stakeholders informed across functions and regions.
  • Design and deliver external-facing communications for third-party Business Process Outsourcing vendors, ensuring materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with the client's position.
  • Provide high-level synthesis of complex information to support executive decision-making and develop clear, concise business communications.
  • Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations that distill complex information into actionable insights and recommendations.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in program management and operations (contract or full-time roles).
  • Proven ability to shift priorities quickly while maintaining a high degree of organization and control.
  • Strong analytical skills and data orientation, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing actionable business insights.
  • Clear and concise communication skills with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with increasing dependencies in ambiguous or high-impact areas.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using AI tools to build, optimize, and scale business processes and reporting structures.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical experience with AI, particularly in leveraging it to scale governance mechanisms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, project management, or related field.
  • Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen or Agile.
  • Proficiency in applying process improvement methodologies/frameworks to identify and resolve process issues, with proven outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the technology industry, including content moderation and support or Trust & Safety operations.
