Job Title: Chemical Technician

Job Summary
The Chemical Technician supports plant operations by assisting with bulk chemical deliveries, performing chemical and physical laboratory testing, and maintaining water treatment programs within defined limits. This role also involves cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining basic control equipment such as pH and conductivity systems. The technician functions as a process control professional focused on system reliability and production efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor water treatment programs to ensure compliance with standards and specifications

Assist with bulk chemical deliveries throughout the plant

Set up and perform chemical experiments, tests, and analyses (e.g., titration, colorimetry)

Conduct chemical and physical laboratory testing on solid and liquid materials

Support qualitative and quantitative analysis of materials

Compile, interpret, and document test results

Provide technical support to plant representatives

Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and control equipment

Prepare technical reports, graphs, and charts to record findings

Manage inventory and order laboratory materials and supplies

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field preferred
