Department: Translational Pharmacokinetics and PharmacodynamicsWorking Model: On-site 5 days/weekInterview process: Two Rounds (1st round - Hiring Manager; 2nd round panel)Job Description: Scientist 1 (tPKPD)Job Code: Scientist SE5/6Location: B46-3Duration: 12 Months Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated research associate to join theTranslational Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (tPKPD)Department. This role is part of a multidisciplinary group that supports andapplies preclinical PKPD tools to determine the PK and metabolic fate ofcandidate therapeutics. The successful candidate will bridge the gapbetween PKPD study support and data informatics, contributing tononclinical study execution, database management, and the developmentof analytical workflows.This role is unique in its dual focus: performing traditional nonclinical PKPDstudy execution while actively driving the department's transition towardautomated data workflows and advanced informatics. The successfulcandidate will help "sunset" manual processes in favor of programmaticsolutionsDuties & Responsibilities? Study Management: Contribute to outsourcing PK study design,monitoring, and execution.? Laboratory Support: Perform lab-related activities including dosematerial preparation and possible sample/tissue preparation (note - thisis a very minor component of the role)? Data Analysis & Informatics: Conduct PK data analysis andmaintain/update departmental databases.? Coding & Reporting: Utilize coding techniques to streamline data entry,perform statistical analysis, and generate study reports.? Communication: Actively participate in department interactions anddeliver department presentations regarding study findings.Skills & Requirements? Education: A BS or MS degree in Biological and/or data science orsimilar.? Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on preclinical R&D experiencepreferred, preferably within a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.? Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of animal physiology andcell culture. Familiarity with bioanalytical techniques such as ELISA,FACS, and LCMS.? Data & Coding: Strong proficiency in data analysis and the ability toapply coding techniques to manage large datasets is preferred.? Experience with database entry and management.? Soft Skills: Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and anindependent thinker. Excellent oral and written communication skillsand demonstrated effectiveness in a team setting are required.
