This role supports Workday’s Global Customer Support organization. We are a global team of expert problem-solvers dedicated to delivering the best customer support experiences and solutions in the industry. Aligned to the Global Support Operations & Enablement (GSOE) team, you’ll work with peers passionate about enabling and empowering Workmates around the world by helping them embrace the latest technology, tools, and processes. About the Role

We are looking for a change management consultant who thrives on digging into complex, technical projects and making it easy for impacted audiences to understand and embrace new concepts and processes. In this role, we will look to you to provide end-to-end organizational change expertise for initiatives and projects that affect Global Customer Support employees and Workday customers. 

Responsibilities include:

Change management from analysis to measurement, and everything in between. You will lead change-related activities including change impact analysis/assessment, change strategy development and planning, communication and training content creation, engagement, and adoption measurement.

Meticulous impact analysis to get to the heart of our most complex projects. We’ll partner you with project and initiative leaders and stakeholders so you get the inside scoop to thoroughly understand and document change impacts.You will lead impact analysis activities to ensure project/initiative leads and communications, engagement, process, and training partners are equipped with the information needed to successfully inform and engage impacted audiences.

Engaging teammates and customers to embrace change. This is where your talent for making complicated concepts clear comes in handy as you translate known impacts into action! We’ll count on you for organized, clear change plans that maintain accurate and detailed progress tracking. 

Delivering change through writing, speaking, and educating. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you may develop and deliver key messages, attend meetings to spread the word and facilitate adoption, and help curate training materials. 

 

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, professional certification, or verified work experience in a change management-related role for 5+ years

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven track record of developing and delivering multiple, change plans with minimal guidance

  • Experience leading change initiatives for complex, technical projects

  • Excellent time management skills with the capability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team

  • Expert command of the following tools:

    • Google Drive: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites

    • Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    • Project management software, particularly Smartsheets

 

Other Qualifications

  • Technical writing experience with the talent make complex ideas and processes easily understandable

  • Demonstrates the ability to design and deliver presentations to visualize change plans and concepts

  • Takes feedback and transforms it into actionable solutions

  • Strong interpersonal and social skills that enable you to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization 

  • Proficient command of (or the commitment to quickly learn) these tools: Zoom Meetings and Events, Confluence, Slack, Miro, and AI tools
