Title: Procurement Program Lead
Contract Duration: Through September 2026 (9+ months, with potential extension or conversion)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT (majority of team based in Wisconsin)
Role Overview
The Procurement Program Lead will play a critical role in supporting a large-scale bank merger from a procurement and vendor management perspective. This individual will be brought on specifically to lead procurement-related merger activities, working cross-functionally with internal business units and a large vendor portfolio to ensure a smooth and timely transition.
This role requires a highly proactive, execution-oriented professional who can independently build plans, anticipate issues, and drive workstreams to completion in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead procurement activities supporting an active bank merger and integration effort

Develop and execute the procurement merger plan, including vendor transition and consolidation strategies

Partner with internal business units to understand needs, resolve issues, and ensure continuity of services

Manage relationships with 100+ vendors, including tracking services, dependencies, and contractual considerations

Own multiple procurement and vendor-related workstreams, ensuring deliverables are met on time

Provide portfolio-level visibility across vendors, contracts, and procurement initiatives

Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early and proactively drive solutions

Collaborate closely with project teams to support overall merger milestones and objectives
Required Qualifications

5+ years of recent, relevant experience in procurement or sourcing

Hands-on experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale transitions

Strong project and portfolio management experience

Proven ability to independently plan, prioritize, and execute complex initiatives

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing ambiguity

Demonstrated “go-and-do” mindset with strong problem-solving and anticipation skills

Authorized to legally work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries (nice to have, not required)

Experience working with large vendor ecosystems in complex enterprise environments
