Provide preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance toequipment in production areas. Perform "troubleshooting" to equipment or systems as needed.Document work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.Make changes to preventive maintenance and calibration programs as needed. Manage and supportthe continuous improvement initiatives of the production equipment maintenance area, together withthe maintenance supervisor. Must cover and support rotating shifts, according to the need of the area.Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and receives address form the Supervisor in duty of productionareas as required.Accountabilities? Execute and document adjustments and replacements of interchangeable equipment partsaccording to production needs.? Execute and document preventive and predictive equipment maintenance according tostandard operational procedures, "SOPs".? Execute and document corrective equipment maintenance, as required.? Operate packaging and/or manufacturing equipment as trained, when required.? Support project execution, modifications, and other operational assignments, as required.? Perform failure analysis on production equipment and maintenance systems.? Supports and manages the continuous improvement program of the maintenance area forproduction equipment.? Provides support in shift coverage in both areas, as needed.? Makes improvements and changes to the Preventive Maintenance System (SAP) as required.? Perform Operator functions and/or any other functions/tasks, as required.? Work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.? Run and document "corrective and preventive action" (CAPA) on computer systems.? Document replacement changes for spare parts.? Complies with training itineraries such as cGMP's, Safety, Environmental, and others that areassigned when required.Job Impact? Provide preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance toequipment in production areas., Education: Minimum Education / Degree Requirements? Vocational Course in Industrial Mechanics or Related Technical Field; Associated grade,preferable.? Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with productionequipment related to the area to which it is assigned.
