Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Merrimack, NH/ Westlake, TX
Hybrid: Alternate two weeks onsite per month like 1 week onsite/ 1 week remote
Duration: 12 Months
The Team: Team is managing the equity trading platform - application used by the traders to buy and sell stocks. Supporting the teams who develop these applications. Creating the pipelines for deployment. Work on automation.
Must have skills:

• Really good at python or groovy because they will be hands on
• Good working knowledge on AWS and Jenkins

Nice to have skills:

• Datadog, Splunk, basic angular knowledge

Interview: 2 rounds

• 1st round panel technical round for 45 mins
• 2nd round is with the hiring manager for 30 mins

 
The Expertise You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Computer Systems Networking, Information Systems/Science, or a closely related discipline

• Hands-on working knowledge of AWS and cloud services and technologies, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies.
• Experience supporting and building operational tools for a complex distributed highly concurrent computing systems.
• Ability to apply automation to infrastructure processes and instrumentation
• Experience in writing code (scripting) in languages such as Python, Groovy, Bash, TypeScript

• Demonstrated success in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and exposure to Pipeline As Code and Infrastructure as Code.
• You have experience in installing, operating, supporting, maintaining, and upgrading vendor products and proven ability to support various distributed computing environments that run on both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
• You have knowledge of the SCRUM / Agile development practices has a proven a collaborative work style
