Must-Have HARD Skills:

• Automation framework and infrastructure (Selenium)
• Experience with JS, Hack, PHP
• Independent self-learner

Nice-to-have Skills:

• UI Automation framework
• Data analytics

Years of Experience:    

• 8+ years of experience, but willing to see candidate’s with less as long as they have the right skills

Degrees/Certifications Required:

• Computer science degree, the manager values soft skills

Responsibilities:

• Identifies, architects and implements long term automation solutions for ambiguous problems. Builds test tools and framework that help organization maintain good product health and long-term maintainability and stability.  The responsibility includes supervising product change with quality goals, and redesigns test framework to support experimentation and rollout.
• Define long-term quality driven roadmaps and prioritization aligned with client’s business goals. Focuses on identifying opportunities for innovation and emerging technologies to enhance the Meta’s quality testing capabilities, while aligning the vision with XFN partners.
• Showcases the ability to identify improvements in existing processes, takes ownership and drives to resolution through others.
• Mentors multiple xfn engineers and helps coach them to be successful. Brings clarity and removes ambiguities and ensuring the technical solutions aligns to org strategies and business goal

Qualifications:

• Software developer Engineer in Test (SDET) with 6+ years of experience in software automation (UI and/or Integration).

Purpose/Size of this team & where does this position fit within the team:

• PQX SDET team with 4 team members providing horizontal support, mainly to FOA areas
• Supports FOA and monetization, provides QA support, automation. Not embedded in the engineering team. Someone that can build XFN rapport.

• Goals and/or project success.

What makes this role interesting:

• Support automation needs for FOA (IG, FB, Msgr, GenAI, WA)

Interview Process:

• How many rounds of interviews: 2 interviews (Coding and Meet & greet)
• Interview Duration: 45 minutes each
