Position Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 8 months of assigment (Possibility of Extension/ conversion)
Working hours: 9-5 EST
 Location: Toronto, ON  (M5J 2J6) (Hybrid 2 days a week in office, flexible)

Role Mandate: Hands on implementation experience with core Equity Swaps platforms - Murex, NuvoPrime, Swap One, Imagine, preferred. Experienced working on Trading System project implementation and all its major milestones including Analysis, Development, Testing and Release.
Line of Business: Capital Markets

Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

•  Data mapping, gathering requirements and translating it into functional code
•  Build out client reports and ensure client trades are aligned with existing reuglations
•  Conceptual understanding of Swaps Trading Lifecyle
•  Strong knowledge of Swap Products : Equities, Portfolio Swaps, and TRS
•  Hand on exposure in Cash and Synthetic Prime Brokerage, and Front office Trade booking
•  Knowledgeable in Total Return Swaps, Portfolio Swaps, and/or Synthetic Prime Business.

Must-Have Skills:

•  7+ years of experience within Capital Markets
•  Requirements gathering and Documentation - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements (BRD, FRD, Test Cases)
•  Should have hands on PO/PM experience in Agile development environment
•  Experience engaging with stakeholders in Front Office, Middle Office, Compliance, and Operations.
•  Must be familiar with JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.
•  Exposure to Product implementation/Integration - Support implementation and rollout of the proposed solution by providing analytical support to downstream technical analysis ( good knowledge of SQL, JSON).
•  Hands on experience running queries d
•  Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills including the ability to present complex material.
•  Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
•  Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have Skills:

•  Previous Programming experience
•  Experience with Python/SQL
