Job Description
Job Title: UI\/UX Design Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 06 Months
Must-Have Skills
- 3–4 years advanced Figma experience (components, variants, design systems at scale)
- 5–8 years digital web design experience translating UX strategy into component-based UI
- 2–3 years design experience in CMS-driven environments (content models, templates, authoring constraints)
- 7+ years UX/product design experience with a user-centric approach
- 2+ years contributing to design systems, including component creation and governance
- Hands-on experience designing chatbot or conversational AI experiences, including conversation flows, intent/IA mapping, and response structure
- No familiarity with design systems or tokenized workflows
- Limited collaboration or delivery experience within constrained platforms or enterprise environments
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX/UI design for AI Suitability Assist, including chatbot UI patterns, conversation flows, and response structure
- Own information architecture and conversation mapping for the chatbot (intents, topics, follow-ups, fallback states, escalation paths)
- Design end-to-end flows for the Suitability Pre-Sales Sandbox / pre-screen tool
- Translate complex suitability and regulatory content into clear, plain-language, actionable user experience
- Design and iterate on feedback mechanisms (e.g., response ratings, diagnostic feedback, surveys) to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, and SMEs to ensure solutions are usable, feasible, and compliant
- Apply component-driven design using design system and contribute new patterns as needed
- Test, iterate, and refine designs based on pilot feedback, usability findings, and performance data
- Support UAT, pilot enhancements, and creation of design documentation for development handoff
- Strong interaction design and problem-solving skills, especially for complex or regulated workflows
- Experience creating customer journey maps, user flows, IA models, conversation maps, and wireframes
- Proficiency in high-fidelity UI design with attention to accessibility and clarity
- Understanding of UX principles for responsive web and enterprise tools
- Ability to collaborate with research and apply insights from qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Mastery of Figma and FigJam; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience designing within platform constraints (CMS, low-code, or enterprise systems)
- Experience preparing detailed design specs and interaction notes for engineering handoff
- Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts
- Working knowledge of Agile product development methodologies (Jira)
