Job Title: Software/Mobile Engineer III
Duration: 06 Months
Location: Seattle, WA (Open to Hybrid and coming onsite 3 days a week)
This position's starting pay is: $85.00/hr. (W2)
Summary:

• The main function of a client software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work.
• A typical software engineer researches, designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications.

Must-Have Skills:

• Shipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users
• Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management
• Strong Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques and test automation techniques in Android or iOS.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with QA work would be a plus
• Ability to cover on call shifts that can be after hours or on weekend

Years of Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience building mobile applications, either android or iOS

Degrees/Certifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience building mobile applications, either android or iOS Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management

• Strong Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques and test automation techniques in Android or iOS.

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

Interview Process:

• How many rounds of interviews: 2 rounds
• Types of Interviews: Two coding interviews with either Android language or iOS
• Interview Duration: 30 minutes for first round and one hour for second round
