Reports To: Manager, Revenue Integrity and Reimbursement
Position Overview
The Financial Analyst supports Hamilton Health Care System through advanced financial, operational, and workforce analytics. This role works closely with reimbursement, revenue integrity, managed care, workforce management, and senior leadership to develop metrics, analyze large datasets, and support revenue accuracy and expense efficiency initiatives.
This position is highly cross-functional and project-based, requiring the ability to shift priorities, work independently, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating without a fixed daily task list and can move fluidly between multiple analytical projects.

Revenue and Expense Optimization
- Develop metrics to maximize revenue accuracy and expense efficiency
- Analyze revenue drivers and labor-related expenses
- Support best-practice implementation through analytical review
Workforce and Productivity Analytics
- Manage human resource and labor-related data for Workforce Management Council
- Produce daily productivity and staffing reports
- Translate workforce data into financial and operational insights
Financial Forecasting
- Support preparation of quarterly financial forecasts
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting
- Partner with management to validate assumptions and results
KPI Development and Reporting
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple organizational segments
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership
- Adjust metrics as organizational needs evolve
Data Systems and Tools
- Utilize advanced Excel for modeling, analysis, and reporting
- Work with Tableau, Syntellis Axiom, and Lawson GL
- Maintain and optimize reporting tools for accuracy and ease of use
- Apply data enrichment and data management techniques
Project-Based and Ad Hoc Work
- Participate in and/or lead organizational projects and initiatives
- Support strategic decision-making through data analysis
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and new analytical requests

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Master’s Degree preferred
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Operational Research
- Healthcare experience required
