Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Indianapolis, IN, 46077
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours/week + optional overtime
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Interview Required: Yes (Teams meeting)
Role Split: 70% laboratory work, 30% data analysis
Education:
Associate’s degree acceptable; Bachelor’s preferred; MS considered overqualified
Background Preference:
Chemistry-focused candidates preferred over Biology

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical studies, including GLP certifications, to support registration and production of active ingredients and formulated crop protection products.
- Ensure data generation and documentation comply with GLP regulations, SOPs, best practices, and study protocols.
- Process, interpret, and review analytical data while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot experimental issues and implement analytical solutions to meet study requirements.
- Support daily laboratory operations, including maintenance of instruments and lab areas.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Chemistry Laboratory team and Subject Matter Experts to conduct experiments and communicate results within required timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Two years of relevant experience with analytical chemistry techniques (recent graduates with academic lab experience are also acceptable).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking, customer-focused environment.
- Flexibility to support urgent or time-sensitive projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to environmental health and safety practices.
