Job Title: Field Service Technician I 
Schedule: M-F 9am to 6pm with a 1 hr lunch • Will there be OC (on call)? Yes • Will there be shift differentials? No
Duration: 3 months (Contract to hire)

Description:

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. 
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
• May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or manager

• What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s).
• Technician will travel to each client’s location. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktops, Laptops, Servers, and Printers.
• Works under general supervision. Local travel required for daily dispatch.
• Driver's License and reliable vehicle required. Must pass Drug Test & Background Check.
• What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Must have good admin and organizational skills. Must have basic knowledge of printers, laptops, desktops, servers, and networks.
• How many overall years of experience should this person have? Preferably 2 but not necessary
• Do they need any specific certifications or education? A+ certification required within 6 months of hire.  
• If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? $23.50
• How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? 50-100
• What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? 50 miles
